    Product Manager (New Opening - Hiring Now)

    Product Manager Job Description – Inbound & Outbound

    The Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and product marketing and sales. This includes managing the product(s) throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with production and farming teams to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

    TO APPLY YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

    • Willing to accept compensation as a combination of base salary and performance-based income
    • Willing to relocate to Panama within 6 months of employment
    • Demonstrated excellence in a small business entrepreneurial environment

    The Product Manager will:

    • Define the product strategy and roadmap
    • Deliver MRDs and PRDs??? with prioritized features and corresponding justification
    • Work with external third parties to assess sales, partnerships and licensing opportunities
    • Be an expert with respect to the competition
    • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
    • Perform product demos to customers
    • Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
    • Deliver a monthly revenue, expenses and net income forecast
    • Develop sales tools and collateral
    • Propose an overall budget to ensure success
    • Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings
    • Brief press and analysts and go on press tours
    • Act as a leader within the company

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 10 years experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager
    • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
    • 3+ years of experience in a job in the coffee and/or chocolate markets
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
    • Technical background preferred, with experience in specialty coffee and/or finished premium chocolate
    • Excellent teamwork and independent operating skills in an entrepreneurial small business environment
    • Proven ability to design and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
    • Must be able to travel 30% of the time
    • Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past
    Marketing Director

    What You Will Be Doing As a Marketing Director

    • Develop and implement an integrated strategic marketing and communications plan to develop existing and new products
    • Manage the company’s social presence and elevate profiles on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook through creating posts and content for each platform, curating the feeds and building audiences. Drafting and supporting messaging in email marketing, newsletter campaigns, and company announcements
    • Responsible for company website strategy, content, and design including continually keeping the website up to date and refreshed
    • Manage lead generation activities including identifying new shows and events, email campaigns, and other lead generation activities
    • Lead client presentation development through storytelling and data visualization
    • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
    • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns for company promotion, launching of new product lines, etc. that include PR, email, social, advertising, and/or events
    • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to generate leads, build pipeline, and create awareness of the company’s products and services
    • Developing content that generates awareness and attracts prospective customers, including blog posts, whitepapers/eBooks, case studies, and thought leadership pieces for industry publications. Promote content through social media and other channels
    • Work with Executive team on branding strategy efforts and increasing company visibility

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • 10+ years of marketing/communications/brand building experience with recent and significant experience in marketing leadership
    • Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role, leading marketing efforts
    • Working knowledge of SEO/SEM, Social Media Platforms, Content Management Systems, CRM and Marketing Automation Platforms
    • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
    • Well-rounded B2B and B2C marketing experience
    • Website development experience a plus
    • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) at advanced level required
    • Proven ability in management, leadership, building, mentoring, and coaching a team of direct reports, as well as the company at large
    • Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
    • Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs
    • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both the strategic and tactical
    • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to effectively interface with senior management and staff

    Other Considerations:

    • This position is based in Boquete, Chiriquí
    • Bilingual or highly proficient in English is a must
    • Salary based on skills and experience. Skills, work ethic and commitment will be evaluated during an initial 3- month probationary period
