In April 2020, we launched our newest exciting syndication, introducing a new ownership model that took into account all that we had learned over the previous six years of operations in Panama and Belize.

Peini Cacao Plantation, LLC is a 506c Private Placement that owns and operates 2 x 30-acre cacao farms in Toledo, Belize, and a fully operational chocolate factory in Boquete, Panama.

The new ownership model addresses the long delays we have been experiencing in issuing deeds in both Panama and Belize and once again opens these opportunities up to the use of IRA funds.

Over the years, we also learned that the highest and best use of every cacao bean we grow is to turn them into finished products like chocolate bars and other chocolate products. So in this model, we have focused on just that and launched a range of high-end 80-gram chocolate bars available in Panama, Japan, and coming soon to the US and Germany.

We also launched a decadent chocolate powdered drink called Chocol’Ha, and we have a long list of new tasty products coming soon.

During what was an "interesting" year in 2020, we focused on what we could influence and tried not to worry about what we could not.

We planted and developed our farms, ordered equipment, built out our factory, perfected chocolate bar recipes, and designed the packaging. We went through the arduous permitting process for our facilities and products.

Websites and social media were revamped, marketing and filming crews were hired, and most importantly, we built on existing relationships and created new ones both nationally and internationally.

So now that we can see the light at the end of the global pandemic tunnel, we are well-positioned with the facilities, products, team, and partners established and raring to go.

With all the above heavy lifting done, and the train about to leave the station, we have room for only 10 or 12 more investors who wish to join us on this chocolate journey.
