Coffee Farm # 11 Signed, Sealed And Delivered!
Back in May of this year we announced for the first time in 2 years that we were fully sold out of coffee farm parcels in Panama.
We always have several farms on which our team are conducting very strict due diligence and we have now reached an agreement on 7 hectares (17.5 acres) of rich, virgin farmland in the Jaramillo region.
This will add nicely to the 8, 12, 14 and 16 hectare farms already in our Jaramillo cluster. In fact, you can see the new 7 hectare farm from the highest point on the existing farms!
So logistically and for economies of scale this latest farm fits in perfectly with our plans for this very high-altitude coffee growing area.
The new roads that you saw being built in a recent email will now make this farm far more accessible than when we first looked at it over a year ago.
Starting at 1,600 meters (5,250 feet) and rising up to 1,900 meters (6,230 feet) above sea level, this will be one of the highest altitude farms in our entire network. Ideal for producing award winning specialty coffee.
That’s the good news!
Bad news is…it is already completely SOLD OUT!
This 7 hectare farm had a total of 35 x ½ acre parcels available and these have been pre-sold and already funded by our newest parcel owners who got in since the announcement back in May.
So, for those of you who have funded recently, we are very happy to introduce you to your new farm!
You are the proud owners of some of Panama’s most in-demand agricultural real estate and in-time a very high-end specialty coffee farm.
Congratulations and you can look forward to lots more updates as we get this farm prepared and ready for planting.
As you can see below we have been busy preparing for this new farm and the nursery is already full of the most in demand varietals in the market today.
Pacamara, San Ramon, Catuai Amarillo (yellow) and Catuai Rojo (red), Borbon, Typica and of course….the now world famous Geisha.
For those of you who missed out on this recent short-lived farm ownership opportunity, we are taking reservations NOW for the next farm which we expect to announce soon.
