Last week was a busy and satisfying week for our Mahogany Chocolate Team in Belize.
On Thursday, we held a product launch at our factory in Punta Gorda, where we unveiled the new and improved packaging and expanded range of Belizean chocolate bars. And we introduced Chocol’ha, our hot chocolate powdered drink, to the market.
Limited in numbers due to covid restrictions, we made sure that we had the right people in attendance. One of them was Cherisse Halsall from Channel 7 news.
Cherisse was not afraid to get her hands dirty, and she had a lot of fun as we brought her through the entire chocolate-making process, culminating with her and another reporter competing in a chocolate bar wrapping competition!
She interviewed Armando Choco, our Executive Chocolate Maker, and she was very excited about the large order that our Team was preparing to ship to the US.
We are happy to share the two segments that appeared on local TV so you can see the event, the new packaging, the interviews with Armando, and the bars being shipped.
