Reporting Live From Boquete!

Greetings from a cool and rainy Boquete, Panama!

This past week has been a hive of activity as we hosted our first private investor tour since January, and as work continues full steam ahead in the remodeling and developing of our new chocolate factory (to be known as an Atelier).

The crew have been busy knocking down walls, putting in lighting, installing the back-up generator and we even have one of our own local RE/MAX agents, who is also a talented artist, decorating the interior.

The Atelier will contain 3 unique areas:

  • The main factory floor where our chocolate makers will be busy conching, tempering and molding chocolate bars and bonbons.
  • The Mahogany Chocolate classroom, where customers can learn the entire bean to bar process and make their own chocolate bars.
  • The Cuatro Caminos coffee & “choc-tail” lounge upstairs where customers can sip on a specialty coffee or hot chocolate, or maybe an Espresso or Chocolate Martini! and also where coffee cupping/making classes will be held.

The team are busy scripting the tours and classes to be ready for the grand opening, scheduled for the 1st week in December.

As we mentioned last week, our Swiss Chocolate Maker extraordinaire, Werner Ruegsegger, is in Panama for 3 weeks to get our new chocolate making equipment up and running and to provide invaluable training to our current staff and some recent new recruits.

We are extremely excited and proud to announce that the brand-new range of 4 chocolate bars for our cacao/chocolate syndication opportunity, are available and On Sale NOW, 6 weeks ahead of schedule, and are already selling!

To add to this exclusive line of specialty chocolate bars, Werner has also unveiled 7 delicious and creative new recipes, for our consideration.

As a sneak peek, some of the new chocolate bar flavors are candied pineapple with white cashew gianduja and 70% chocolate, espresso or ristretto dark chocolate and roasted coffee and hazelnut-milk-chocolate containing whole caramelized hazelnut halves.

And yes, they are as DELICIOUS as they sound!

As well as unveiling the new recipes and getting the first range of chocolate bars ready for sale, we also launched our decadent chocolate powdered drink, called Chocol’Ha, which means “lets enjoy chocolate together” in the native Mayan language.

After reading this, anyone that has ever attended any of our tours can testify to the quality of this scrumptious drink. Now after months of perfecting the recipe for home use and designing the packaging, we give you… Chocol’Ha!

This is just one of the many new chocolate products that will be launched over the coming weeks, months and years and will provide multiple revenue streams for investors in the current cacao/chocolate Offering, Peini Cacao Plantation, LLC.
