At Mahogany Chocolate in Belize, we are extremely proud to release our brand-new, reinvigorated, user-friendly, and sleek chocolate bar packaging for our “Belizean” brand of chocolate bars and to launch our newest product “Chocol’ha”, a decadent hot chocolate powdered drink.
Finally, after many months of design work and production tweaks the new packaging and products were officially unveiled at our chocolate factory in Punta Gorda, Belize, at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 18th, 2021.
It was an amazing day with municipal officials, local TV and media networks and of course, our national distribution partners such as Vega Distributors Ltd, in attendance to help us mark this auspicious occasion.

The “Belizean” bar remains our flagship brand for our high-end chocolate bars. The 72% Dark chocolate bar solely carried the brand for three years and has obtained great reviews from consumers at home and abroad.
Today the expanded Belizean range also includes an 80% Extra Dark, a 57% Dark Milk, a 44% Milk, and a pure White chocolate bar, all of which embody the unique flavor profiles of the beans produced by our farming Team here in Belize.
With the new packaging, size, weight, and refined quality, the chocolate bars are poised to take on the world!…. and in the process represent Belize, its cacao, and its people.
Along with the new Belizean bar packaging, our ready-mix hot chocolate drink “Chocol’ha”, was officially introduced to the local market for the first time. In the native tongue, Chocol’ha means “let’s enjoy a drink”.
The launching of the products included a presentation by our Executive Chocolate Maker, Luis Armando Choco, where he spoke about our Environmentally and Socially Sustainable programs, our local and international distributions plans, and culminated in a guided tour of the manufacturing facility with chocolate tasting tours for everyone in attendance.
The product launch event capped off a very busy couple of weeks for our Team in Belize as they were also producing, packing, and preparing to ship a container of Mahogany Chocolate bars, cacao butter, cacao powder, and of course, Chocol’ha.
The container is bound for the US and the products will be available for purchase on Amazon and Shopify with local delivery available in the US and Canada.
The product launch event and the large product order are exciting and welcome news for our Team on the ground and of course for our clients who invested in our 1st 3 cacao farms and who share in the success and pride of the Mahogany Chocolate brand in Belize.
